Liz, 33, from West Molesey in Surrey is a wiz at carrying out everyday household chores at a fraction of the normal cost.
One of her top tips helps her save £135 a year on washing detergent. Instead of using liquid or tablets to wash her family’s cloths she uses soap nuts that she imports from India via the internet. She also uses vinegar instead of fabric softener and insists her cloths do not end up smelling like a chip shop.
She spends just £15 on vinegar and soap nuts while the average family spends around £135 a year on washing products.
